Summary

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and energetic person to help Disabled children enjoy fun, inclusive play experiences in the community. You’ll plan and lead engaging activities, support families with empathy, and create welcoming spaces where every child can take part and thrive.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the challenges Disabled children and their families face, along with the creativity, patience and positivity needed to make each session inclusive and engaging.

The post holder will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of play sessions for Disabled children between the ages of 5-12. The post holder will work effectively, coordinating a team of sessional workers to provide support to Disabled children and assist in the planning and delivery of a full range of activities to take place during weekday evenings, school holidays and weekends.

The working pattern for this role will include some planning, preparation, and meeting time during core office hours as well as sessional delivery on evenings, school holidays and weekends. An indicative pattern would be approximately 6 hours delivery and 9 hours coordination during office hours.
