Summary
Personal Assistant required for an 11-year-old girl with Down Syndrome living in the Redruth area
She is very talkative and loves having fun, being creative, crafting, and trying new things.
The Personal Assistant will support her to develop important life skills, including maintaining personal dignity and increasing her awareness of personal safety.
The Personal Assistant will also support her to participate in social activities such as dance, swimming, and outdoor activities, as well as practical life skills like cooking.
Occasional support is also required for family days out.
Flexible hours but mainly weekends and school holidays. £12.60 an hour, plus mileage (business class insurance required)
The successful applicant will be employed under a private arrangement with the family, and not be employed or carry out work for Cornwall Council.
