Summary

Job Description

We are currently supporting a welcoming and well-established primary school in the Milborne Port area seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher (Year 1/2) for the Summer term.

The successful candidate will play an important role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning within the classroom, supporting pupils’ academic progress and maintaining a positive learning environment.



Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
• Assess and monitor pupil progress
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff
• Maintain effective classroom management and safeguarding standards



Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (Year 1 / Year 2)
• Strong classroom management skills
• A passion for supporting children’s learning and development
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
• Right to work in the UK
