Summary

Key Aspects of the Role
Production & Technical Skills: Teachers cover sound design, arrangement, mixing, and mastering, enabling students to create original tracks, remixes, or mash-ups.

Selector & DJ Skills: They teach beatmatching, harmonic mixing, and track selection to help students build a "journey" or, for radio/club sets.

Curriculum Customization: Lessons are often 1:1, catering to skill levels ranging from complete beginners to advanced producers refining their sound.

Industry Integration: Our teacher should be instructors, active artists, offering insights into industry trends, marketing, and securing gigs at venues like Ministry of Sound or on radio stations.

Common Requirements for Tutors
Professional Experience: Proven experience releasing music or performing professionally.

Technical Proficiency: Mastery of industry-standard hardware (CDJs, controllers) and software (Ableton, Logic).

Teaching Ability: Strong communication, patience, and the ability to tailor lessons to individual SEN student goals.
