Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Manchester (M13 9PL) is looking to appoint a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team and contribute to a positive learning environment.

What’s On Offer :

• Based in Manchester (M13 9PL) with excellent public transport links
• Supporting pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2 (ages 4–11)
• Full-time role with long-term opportunity
• Monday to Friday | 8:30am – 3:30pm | Term-time only
• Weekly pay between £500 – £560, depending on experience
• Delivering 1:1 academic support and small group interventions
• Supporting pupils who may require additional academic, behavioural, or pastoral guidance

Ideal Candidate :

This role is ideal for graduates who are passionate about education and keen to gain hands-on experience in a nurturing primary school setting. We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a degree (2:1 or above preferred) in English, Maths, Psychology, Education, or a related subject
• Has a strong interest in pursuing a career in teaching or education
• Is a confident communicator who can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Is patient, adaptable, and proactive in a busy classroom environment
• Has previous experience working with children (such as tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or youth work) – beneficial but not essential
• Has the right to work in the UK
