Summary
Are you passionate about unlocking potential and transforming lives? As our Functional Skills Tutor for Maths and English, you will play a pivotal role in reigniting young people's confidence and curiosity in learning. You'll work with 16–19-year-olds on our Study Programme—and occasionally apprentices—who may have faced barriers to success in traditional classrooms. Through engaging, student-centred teaching, creative planning, and a genuine belief in every learner's ability, you'll help them discover that Maths and English aren't just subjects to pass, but skills to proudly own for life. This is more than a teaching role; it's an opportunity to build trusting relationships, celebrate small victories, and inspire young people to see their own potential, resilience, and future opportunities in every lesson.
