Summary


We are recruiting for a Service Coordinator, within the Stroke Service at Lister Hospital. The successful candidate will share our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

We are looking for an individual who has an excellent track record of delivering strong leadership and analytical skills, coupled with a strong desire to improve and succeed proactively.

You will participate in the inputting of demand and capacity modelling for the service and in conjunction with the Operational and Service Managers, support and deliver performance sustainability as well as contribute to the design and delivery of operational procedures to ensure compliance with local and national stroke standards.

You will support the Stroke Service in leading all aspects of Unplanned Care services. This will include performance management and service delivery of our local and national stroke performance standards including actively participating in the delivery of the Sentinel Stroke National Audit Programme standards and a challenging financial sustainability programme.

You will be directly responsible for the management and co-ordination of secretarial and administrative staff working within the service, including responsibility for a budget.

Support the Service Manager and Divisional Operations Manager by contributing to the development of business plans.

You will work collaboratively with colleagues across different specialities ensuring and encouraging internal professional standards are adhered to at all times.

You will support the service's leadership team with delivering our quality and safety agenda to achieve an "Excellence" status for the service.
