Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour
Contract Duration: Immediate start – 27 March 2026
Working Schedule:
Monday to Friday (Term-time only)
08:30 AM – 01:30 PM
25 hours per week
Role Summary:
We require an experienced Chef / Head of Kitchen to provide temporary cover. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving a mix of hot and cold meals for approximately 150 students daily. The role includes overseeing kitchen operations and ensuring food quality, hygiene, and safety standards are maintained.
Support:
Two Food Service Assistants will be available on site to support with food preparation and service.
Requirements:
Enhanced DBS (mandatory)
Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate (preferred)
Previous experience in a similar catering or school kitchen environment
This role is ideal for someone who can efficiently manage a busy kitchen service while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. ️
