Summary
Paragon Education is currently recruiting dedicated SEN Teachers and Support Staff to work across the Tees Valley region, including Durham and North Yorkshire, supporting schools partnered with Multi-Service Providers (MSPs). 1:1 Support Workers
These roles involve supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Social Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH), and Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD) in primary schools, secondary schools, and specialist provisions.
Key Responsibilities
Provide tailored classroom and small-group support for pupils with SEN
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and MSP teams
Support behaviour management and create positive learning environments
Implement EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
Provide patient, consistent support to help pupils reach their full potential
Experience & Qualifications Required
Experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs
Relevant qualification such as QTS (for teachers), Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent experience in SEN settings
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
Understanding of safeguarding and inclusive education practices
A supportive, proactive, and empathetic approach
