Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Manager to join our Rotherham Services on a permanent basis for 37.5 hours per week.

We’re looking for an inspiring leader to manage two support services in Rotherham. If you’re passionate about empowering people with complex needs to live meaningful, independent lives, this is your chance to make a real impact.

As Service Manager, you’ll build and lead a high‑performing team, working closely with families and partner agencies to deliver truly person‑centred support. Reporting to the Area Operations Manager, you’ll drive quality, staff development, and a culture of excellence across both services.

You’ll need to be confident under pressure, ready to make tough calls, and motivated by positive change. Strong people skills are essential — you’ll set the tone, lead by example, and create a supportive environment where staff and the people we support can thrive.

What you’ll bring:

- Solid experience in social care, especially supporting people with autism, mental health needs, and behaviours that challenge.
- Proven leadership in Learning Disability services.
- Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is a bonus.
- Ability to complete support plans and risk assessments.
- Confident IT skills and the ability to work flexibly across multiple locations.

This role covers a 7‑day service and includes weekend working. Flexibility is key, and you may occasionally step into frontline support during emergencies — because great leaders lead from the front.
