First: Permanent/Full Time/Full Year
37 hours per week
Salary: NJC Scale 4 7-12
Second: Permanent/Part Time/Term Time only (39 weeks) to include Teacher Education Days
30 hours per week

Governors of Bishop Perowne are seeking to appoint two Finance Assistants to join an expanding department. The successful candidates will work under the direction of the Chief Finance Officer and Deputy Chief Finance Officer to organise and deliver financial and business support in a busy Finance Office. AAT Level 2 or equivalent is desirable for both posts.
Duties may include:
• To take responsibility for financial transactions within the College, including purchase orders, invoicing, BACS payments and petty cash
• To ensure receipt, safekeeping and banking of all money received by the College (including via ParentPay)
• To co-ordinate the purchase of goods and supplies, ensuring that the College obtains best possible value for money from suppliers and contractors
• To undertake monthly bank reconciliations and month-end adjustments
