City of London with mainly remote working. One week in the London office for training
Tate are supporting a leading professional services environment with the search for an experienced Legal Biller who can join the team for a minimum of four to six weeks. This role plays an important part in supporting accurate billing activity, ensuring consistent processes that help the wider finance function deliver a smooth and reliable service.
The ideal candidate will be available immediate due to the temporary nature of the assignment
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Processing billing from fee earning departments
- Managing payment of counsel fees in line with Solicitors Accounts Rules
- Raising billing queries with teams
- Adding Purchase Order numbers and issuing updated bills
- Supporting credit control with client billing questions
- Maintaining accurate billing records and organised filing systems
Skills and experience:
- Two years billing experience within a law firm
- Strong understanding of billing processes and fee structures
- Excellent accuracy, organisation and communication
