Luma Education Recruitment is seeking an experienced Secondary Teacher to join a supportive school. You’ll lead lessons, manage behaviour, and support pupils of all abilities, helping them thrive in a positive, inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils
• Maintain a calm, structured, inclusive classroom that promotes learning and positive behaviour
• Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development across the school day
• Adapt quickly to new settings following school routines and individual support plans
• Assess progress and provide feedback, collaborating with colleagues to support learning
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in UK schools
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Flexible, adaptable, and confident working across year groups/subjects
• Enhanced DBS (on Update Service) required prior to starting
