Summary
An exciting opportunity become available within the Adult Community Health Services for an Operational Admin Lead. The post holder will support the Specialist Outpatient Services in Newham. These services include the Musculoskeletal Services (MSK), Patient Appliance Service, Community Neuro Service, Cardiac Rehab, Pulmonary Rehab and the Speech and Language Team. This is a key role developing, implementing and overseeing performance management across the services, working with the Deputy Head of Specialist Outpatient Services and the relevant Service/Team Leads. The post holder will be responsible for supporting the development, coordination and oversight of the administration services.
To be part of a wider multi-disciplinary team the post holder will be responsible for the day to day operational management of the clinical service and administrative function and providing senior administrative support to the Service Manager.

You will be a part of the clinical stack management team and, together with the team, support the wider development of the service, including clinical improvements, data analysis, and standard setting and encourage/lead on QI projects within the administrative team.
You will operationally manage the administration staff within the clinical stack, to include but not limited to, supervision, appraisals, training and support; following trust policies.
You will need to ensure that effective and efficient support is provided at all times – to include assistance and cover where required and routine huddles to ensure that workload is evenly distributed and completed within the stack.
