In this role, you'll work at the forefront of electronic design, contributing directly to a busy new‑product pipeline and playing a key role in bringing advanced, high‑performance devices to market. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end design and development of complex, high-density PCB assemblies, covering both analogue and digital circuitry, including designs with high transistor counts.
- Develop and integrate microcontrollers and processor platforms (PIC32 preferred, though alternative architectures considered) while supporting migration from Proteus to Altium for schematic capture and PCB layout.
- Contribute to safety-critical product development, applying isolation best practice and working to IEC 60601 standards where required.
- Support the full product lifecycle - from initial concept and prototyping through validation, verification and release - collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and applying power electronics expertise (up to 40kV) to drive innovation.
Requirements
- Degree qualified (or equivalent experience) in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrable expertise in power electronics and high-voltage PCB design, supported by strong analogue and digital circuit design capability.
- Hands-on experience with microcontroller-based systems, along with exposure to Altium.
- Background within regulated sectors such as medical, automotive, aerospace, or similar environments desirable
