Summary
We are looking for an organised, proactive individual to join our growing team in a key support role bridging the office and site operations.
This position plays a vital part in ensuring our projects run smoothly by managing materials, plant hire, supplier relationships and project budgets. Full training will be provided, with a structured 3-month training programme followed by continued support and development.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Buying all site materials (full training provided)
• Making daily calls to suppliers to obtain prices and confirm deliveries
• Arranging hire of plant, equipment and skips for multiple sites (training provided)
• Acting as a regular point of contact for Site Managers via phone and WhatsApp
• Using Excel to manage cost trackers and templates (basic knowledge required – templates provided)
• Raising purchase orders using Xero accounting software (training provided)
• Monitoring project budgets and keeping relevant colleagues informed of spend
• Chairing and attending supplier meetings, negotiating rates on a regular basis
• Applying for new credit accounts and managing credit limit increases when required

• Highly organised with strong communication skills
• Confident on the phone and comfortable negotiating
• Good basic Excel knowledge
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Commercially aware with a good eye for detail
• Proactive and able to work independently
