Desian Education are proud to be working in partnership with a two-form entry primary school in Salford as they are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable teaching assistant for a pre-school class. This is a full-time 32.5-hour contract that will last the remainder of the academic year.
Your new role
As an early years assistant within this school you will work in collaboration with the class teacher to promote the engagement, learning and development of each pupil by utilising an array of learning equipment and tailor your approach to best suit pupils needs. You will:
- Plan, prepare and delivering fun and engaging learning activities inline with the EY curriculum and pupil key interests
- Support with guided reading and writing
- Deliver learn through play to support social and emotional development
What you need to succeed
- Full “Right to Work” in the UK
- Good knowledge of the EYFS national curriculum
- Be at least NVQ Level 2 Children’s Care, Learning and development or equivalent qualified
- Be able to commit to a long-term full-time contract
- A passion for supporting young learners
- Relevant referenceable classroom experience
