The Opportunity
A long-established and highly respected manufacturer is looking for an experienced Press Brake Setter to join their skilled production team. Based in a modern, well-equipped facility in Kidderminster, this is a fantastic opportunity to work with advanced CNC fabrication technology in a secure, permanent role on afternoon shifts.
Equipment You’ll Be Using
You will operate a range of industry-leading CNC press brake machinery, including:

Amada press brake – high-precision CNC press brake for sheet metal bending

HFE-170 – ideal for deep and precision bending
-
Additional press brakes from leading manufacturers such as Trumpf and Darley
-
In-house facilities including MIG/TIG welding bays, powder coating ovens, and automated tooling systems
Key Responsibilities

Set, operate, and program CNC press brakes

Read and interpret technical and engineering drawings
-
Perform offline programming and make adjustments using CAM software (e.g., Blank CAM, Bend CAM, CADMAN-B)

Conduct in-process quality checks using precision measuring equipment

Support tooling maintenance

Work to production schedules and quality targets

Ensure full compliance with health and safety procedures
What We’re Looking For

2–5 years’ experience setting and operating CNC press brakes within a fabrication environment

Strong understanding of technical drawings, tolerances, and sheet metal processes
-
Experience using CAM systems such as Blank CAM, Bend CAM, or similar
-
Reliable, detail-focused, and able to work effectively within a team
