The Role:

This is an opportunity to be part of the Street Care & Greenspace team which undertakes tasks contributing to the effective scheduled and reactive cleansing service helping to keep the City of Stoke on Trent clean and safe for the residents and visitors in the City.



Key Responsibilities:

· To contribute, individually or as part of a team, to the delivery a high quality service as required and across a range of environmental or street cleansing related functions

· To participate in the PLAN process

· Collecting and removing litter, detritus, fly tipping, dog fouling, leaves weeds, needlesticks and sharps

· Open, close and clean the City Councils changing rooms, recreational pavilions a, public toilets and car parks

· To strictly adhere to all relevant Health and Safety legislation, Safe Working Practices and Council procedures



About You:

· Be enthusiastic and committed to the work and deliver services of the highest quality

· To work flexibly and assist other team members in the delivery of a high quality cleaning operation

· Experience of providing an efficient and effective cleaning service

· Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation applicable to the role

· Ability to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining high quality professional standards and complete all relevant paperwork

· Ability to work as part of a team
