The Role:
This post is casual, work in the casual pool is not guaranteed. We are under no obligation to provide work, likewise, you will be under no obligation to take up the offer of work. Hours offered will be as and when needed during the Summer Season 2026.
A fantastic opportunity to join a professional team within the grounds maintenance and gardening sector of Stoke-on-Trent City Council.
Individuals required who are interested inworking to enhance the environment they wish to live in and make Stoke-on-Trent a prosperous place to live.
To be given full training in many different disciplines to further career prospects in a diverse sector.
Duties will include, driving of ride on machinery, use of machinery including lawn mowers, hedge cutters, blowers and edging off machines. Hedge cutting, pruning of shrubs and trees. Removal of litter and detritus.
Upon applications received, short listing will take place, and successful candidates will be invited for interview.
A great opportunity to lead into full time career prospects. Locations of work in the North, South and central areas of Stoke-on-Trent.
