ECONOMIC STRATEGY & PARTNERSHIP MANANGER - PART TIME - FIXED TERM - 22.5 HOURS
Hull City Council is seeking an ambitious and forward‑thinking professional to play a pivotal role in shaping the city’s economic future. This is an exciting opportunity to help drive the development of Hull’s economic strategy at a time of significant regional change, ensuring the city is well‑positioned to benefit from new policy, funding and devolution opportunities.
In this strategic role, you will work closely with senior leaders, elected members and a wide range of partners to align economic priorities, identify opportunities for growth and support the delivery of major programmes. A key part of the role will be strengthening and managing relationships with the Hull and East Yorkshire Combined Authority, ensuring Hull’s ambitions are clearly represented and integrated within regional decision‑making and investment planning.
You will bring strong analytical skills, the ability to interpret evolving national and regional policy, and the confidence to influence at a senior level. Equally important is your ability to build trust, negotiate effectively and foster productive, long‑term partnerships that deliver results.
If you are passionate about driving economic growth, shaping place‑based strategy, and ensuring Hull secures the best possible outcomes from combined authority working, we would be delighted to hear from you.

The post is offered on a fixed-term contract up to the 31 March 2027 to cover a vacancy while the postholder is on secondment.
