Summary

We are currently recruiting for a Sign Technician (Assembler) to join our team in Great Yarmouth.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a passion for craftsmanship and attention to detail to play a key role in the creation of high-quality, visually appealing signs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sign Assembly: Construct and assemble various types of signs according to design specifications and blueprints.


  • Material Handling: Work with materials such as metal, plastic, wood, or acrylic to cut, shape, and join them as per the project requirements.


  • Tool Operation: Use both hand and power tools to fabricate components, ensuring high precision and quality throughout the process.


  • Attention to Detail: Ensure all parts are accurately aligned, securely fastened, and meet the required standards for durability and visual appeal.


  • Collaboration: Work closely with designers and other team members to meet production deadlines and client specifications.


  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the assembly process to maintain smooth workflow.


  • Safety: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.


  • Other Duties: Assist with any other tasks as required to support the team and the production process.


    Requirements:
    • Previous experience in sign assembly, fabrication, or a similar role is highly beneficial.


    • Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and instructions.


    • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools for construction and assembly.


    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.


    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


    • Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.


    • Adherence to safety standards and protocols at all times.


    • Reliable, punctual, and flexible with work assignments.
