Technical Support Engineer - Marlowe Fire & Security
Job Purpose Summary
To act as a contract dedicated Intruder/CCTV Specialist within the Scottish Power estate. To be responsiblefor 1st line triage on reactive maintenance and scheduling support to the contract to cover both CCTV andIntruder alarm systems UK wide. The Engineer must be competent in all aspects of CCTV including Analogue/IP/ Telemetry. Intruder alarm maintenance and servicing in line with British standards and our clients'specific requirements.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities• Management of Maintenance Visits• Engagement with engineers to proactively prevent the need for additional site visits• Management of Reactive Fault Calls• Engagement with site to resolve faults at source• Engagement with engineers to proactively prevent the need for additional site visits• Root cause failure and trend analysis of faults• Collate Asset capture on Intruder & CCTV systems on premises• 1st Responder (Remote) to service calls on all types of CCTV and Intruder Systems in line with currentstandards and customer requirements• Plan and respond to routine and re-active call visits in your area during the normal working day• Maintain effective communication with customers and project co-ordinator when planning/completing site visits• Achieve and strive for 100% KPI completion of services in the calendar month• To fill in all CCTV/ Intruder logbooks with correct, fully informative detail regarding works carried outat time of each visit
Person Specification• Technical background in all CCTV system maintenance and fault finding• Technical background in all Intruder system maintenance and fault-finding utilising Galaxy remoteservice desk• Experience of front-line customer contact preferred• Excellent organisational skills• Professional and presentable at all times• Be able to deliver exceptional customer service• Must be able to perform well as an individual as well as part of a team
