Summary
MIG Welder / Fabricator
Location: Droitwich
Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
Pay: £15.50 per hour (rising to £16.00 per hour after successful probation)
Overtime: Unlimited overtime available paid at 1.5x
Contract: Straight Permanent

This isn’t repetitive bench work. You’ll be fabricating heavy-duty mild steel components, working from detailed engineering drawings, and playing a key role in delivering high-quality structural projects.
What You’ll Be Doing-
MIG welding on mild steel (up to 30mm)

Structural & plate welding

Working confidently from engineering drawings
-
Measuring, cutting, drilling & full fabrication

Operating saws, table drills & folding machinery

Setting up and adjusting your own welding machine

Working to deadlines without compromising quality
What We’re Looking For-
Minimum 3 years proven MIG welding & fabrication experience

Strong experience working from technical drawings
-
Able to set and adjust welding machines independently

Experience using saws, drills & fabrication equipment

Structural welding experience

Team player with a strong work ethic

Happy to work overtime when required

Comfortable working to strict deadlines
