Summary
You will be maintaining customers' gardens to a high standard whilst looking after our customers' needs. Corresponding with our customer base to fulfil the client’s specific brief and offering advice to what could be done to become a more sustainable garden environment where possible.
You must have a good plant Knowledge with a proven track record. Please do not apply if you do not have this.
General tasks consist of grass cutting, hedge cutting, weeding, planting, tree pruning, management and maintenance of shrubs, hedges, flower beds and trees.
Offering horticultural advice to enhance customers' gardens.
Using hand-held petrol & electric driven machinery, weeding/digging to maintain garden planted areas.
Full driving licence is a must.
Offering your experience and knowledge to enhance the customer's garden as sustainably as possible.
Maintenance of all equipment and vehicles on a day-to-day basis ensuring that they are in good working order and meet the needs of the team.
Communicate with clients and relay those requirements with the team, with the ability to work as a part of a team or on your own with a self driven motivation and determination to help the business move forward.
Time keeping of all jobs by using paper or software supplied.
Your job description may be amended by us and, in addition to duties set out in the job description, you may be required to undertake additional or other reasonable duties as necessary to meet the needs of our business.
Other ad hoc duties which you will be asked to perform outside of your normal day to day role within the gardens team.
