Summary
The team leader position will be to lead a team to maintain our customers' gardens to a high standard whilst looking after our customers' needs.
Corresponding with our customer base to fulfil the client’s specific brief and offering advice to what could be done to become a more sustainable garden environment where possible.
Leading a team in general tasks consisting of grass cutting, hedge cutting, weeding, planting, tree pruning, management and maintenance of shrubs, hedges, flower beds and trees. Must have a good knowledge of of common trees and plants.
Offering horticultural advice to enhance customer's gardens.
Using hand-held petrol & electric driven machinery, weeding/digging to maintain garden planted areas.
(You must hold a full UK driving licence) .
Helping to build fencing, decking and patio areas as and when required.
Part of the planning design process of new and existing customers offering your experience and knowledge to enhance the customer's garden as sustainably as possible.
Help to produce a monthly/ seasonal blog post on social media platforms for new and existing customers on seasonal gardening advice.
Maintenance of all equipment and vehicles on a day-to-day basis ensuring that they are in good working order and meet the needs of the team.
Communicate with clients and relay those requirements with the team.
Time keeping of all jobs by using paper or software supplied.

Other ad hoc duties which you will be asked to perform outside of your normal day to day role within the gardens team.
