Summary
Our Motor Trade Client is a reputable employer based in Liskeard and they require an experienced MET Technician / Fitter to join their busy team of bodyshop productives.
Benefits:
- Competitive basic salary up to £45,000 per annum
- Working hours mainly from Monday to Thursday, with early start shifts.
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, pro-rated for a four-day workweek.
- Exposure to accident repair and insurance work including strip fitting, suspension, mechanical repairs, and damage assessment.
Typical duties:
- Diagnosing, repairing and maintaining vehicles in line with our Client’s high standards
- Familiarity with the skills, knowledge and techniques required to be successful in the role.
- To identify additional repair work and liaise with the bodyshop advisor
- Communicating effectively with other team members
- Carry out quality controls
Requirements:
- Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- ATA qualification would be beneficial
- Able to work Monday to Thursday, on early shifts.
- Experience as a MET Technician or Auto Electrician within an Accident Repair Centre
