Project Administrator (Temporary)

Location: Manchester 100% Onsite
We're looking for an organised, proactive Project Administrator to provide high‑quality support across a busy facilities and research environment. If you enjoy variety, people contact, and keeping projects running smoothly, this role is for you.
What You'll Do
- Provide day‑to‑day admin support: emails, document formatting, reports, filing and general coordination
- Manage diaries, book meetings, arrange travel and organise events or training sessions
- Support recruitment activity: schedule interviews, liaise with candidates, handle logistics
- Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes and circulate papers
- Maintain databases, track project activity and support the full admin workflow (quoting, monitoring, invoicing)
- Prepare financial information and work closely with internal teams
- Keep webpages, newsletters and marketing materials updated
- Process purchase orders, invoices and expenses
- Welcome visitors, handle enquiries and ensure smooth office operations.
What You'll Bring
- Strong admin experience in a busy environment
- Excellent IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Confident communicator with great attention to detail
- Able to balance multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Flexible, positive attitude and comfortable working with people at all levels
- Strong organisation, time‑management and problem‑solving skills
- Desirable: experience in project support, higher education or research settings; familiarity with finance systems or document management tools.
