The Role
As an English Teacher, you will:
• Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available depending on experience)
• Plan, assess and track pupil progress in line with departmental schemes of work
• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations
• Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom practice
• Work collaboratively within a supportive English department
The department has strong uptake at GCSE and A-Level, with a clear focus on analytical writing, critical thinking and a love of literature.
For Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
• Structured and supportive induction programme
