KPI Education are working in partnership with a high-performing secondary school in Kensington to appoint a driven and academically strong Graduate Academic Mentor. This role is ideal for graduates who are serious about a future career in education and want to make a measurable impact on pupil progress.

The Role
As a Graduate Academic Mentor, you will:
• Provide 1:1 and small group academic mentoring across KS3–KS5
• Deliver structured intervention sessions to raise attainment
• Support high-achieving pupils aiming for Russell Group universities
• Assist with GCSE and A-Level preparation strategies
• Work closely with Heads of Department to track and monitor pupil progress
• Build positive, professional relationships that support both academic and personal development
You will gain exposure to lesson planning, assessment strategies and classroom practice, giving you outstanding preparation for future teacher training.
Who We’re Looking For
• A First-Class or strong 2:1 degree from a Russell Group or Top 30 university
• Strong A-Level and GCSE results
• A clear ambition to pursue a career in teaching or education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A reflective, resilient and professional mindset
Graduates in English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Languages and Psychology are particularly encouraged to apply.
Prior tutoring or mentoring experience is desirable but not essential — academic strength, commitment and potential are the key qualities this school is seeking.
