The Role
We are looking to recruit a motivated and capable Business Relationship Officer to join our Business Relationship Team.
This is a varied and rewarding role with responsibility for overseeing and delivering specific areas of the team’s function, with a strong focus on service improvement and business development. You will work closely with internal services, external partners and stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement, resolve issues, and support the delivery of the company’s strategic objectives.
You will also lead on elements of business development activity, manage projects through to completion, and provide specialist advice and support across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee and deliver discrete areas of service delivery, including Single Point of Contact, Premises Management, and IT systems and development
Develop and maintain effective business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Lead and contribute to service improvement and business development projects
Plan and manage your own workload to meet priorities and customer demand
Resolve escalated customer issues using analysis, technical knowledge and sound judgement
Provide specialist advice, guidance and technical support to managers and customers
Supervise, coach and support team members to build capability and ensure quality standards are met
Act as a technical point of referral and provide quality assurance across the team
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, data protection, FOI requirements and company policies
Work flexibly across services and locations, sometimes at short notice

What We’re Looking For
You will be an organised and proactive individual with experience of working in a complex, customer-focused environment. You’ll be confident working on your own initiative, managing competing priorities and engaging effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

You’ll also bring:
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Experience of service improvement, project work or business support
The ability to analyse information and recommend practical solutions
An understanding of governance, compliance and quality assurance
A commitment to equality, safeguarding and excellent customer service
