We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Female Live-In Support Worker to provide 1:1 support for a young man with complex needs living in Blackpool.

Please note: Due to the personal care requirements of this role, there is a genuine occupational requirement for the post holder to be female in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.
About the IndividualYou will be supporting a 24 year old man with:

Severe learning disabilities

Epilepsy

PEG feeding requirements

Complex health and personal care needs
He requires consistent, person-centred support delivered with patience, understanding, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities-
Providing 24-hour live-in care and support

Supporting with all aspects of personal care

Administering and managing medication
-
Managing and monitoring epilepsy, including seizure response protocols
-
Supporting and maintaining PEG feeding
-
Assisting with mobility and daily living activities
-
Encouraging engagement in activities and promoting independence
-
Maintaining accurate care records and reporting concerns appropriately
-
Working collaboratively with family members and healthcare professionals
-
Previous experience supporting individuals with complex needs
-
Experience with epilepsy management
-
PEG feeding experience (or willingness to undergo specialist training)

Ability to work independently and follow care plans accurately
