Summary
As a growing health and social care provider, Choices Healthcare are seeking a full-time Receptionist & Admin Assistant to join the Southend team to assist with standard reception and administration duties.
Typical duties:
Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
Answering, screening and forwarding incoming phone calls and emails
Be in regular communication with carers, clients and healthcare professionals
Assist with the maintenance of the care planner/rota
Ensure up-to-date maintenance of both computerised and manual filing systems
Maintaining stationary stock levels and the general office premises
General filing, word processing, and inputting data
Any other ad hoc duties
Requirements:
Must have at least one year reception and/or administration experience
Healthcare experience would be an advantage
Have excellent communication skills
Be confident using the phone
Be friendly and welcoming
Be patient and understanding
Able to work in a team but use own initiative
Deal with people who may be disgruntled or upset
Having a good attitude to work and flexibility are essential for this post
