Class 1 HGV Driver – Distance Work | £40,000 + Night Out Allowance & Paid Parking + Bonus
KevCo Logistics are looking for a professional and reliable Class 1 (C+E) Driver to join our growing operation carrying out long-distance UK work.
This is a full-time, permanent role suited to drivers who take pride in their work and want consistent, well-planned distance work within a professional operation.
Pay & Benefits
£40,000 annual salary
£26.20 tax-free night out allowance
Paid parking via SNAP account
Optional weekend shifts paid at £180 per shift
£50 per week compliance related bonus - (calculated daily)
Expenses reimbursed where applicable
Well-maintained vehicles
Trucks equipped with fridge and microwave
Earning Potential
Typical earnings include:
Base salary: £40,000 (55hrs)
Overtime after 55hrs @ £14ph
Night out allowance (typically 4+ per week)
Optional weekend work available at £180 per shift
Realistic OTE: £44,000 – £50,000+ depending on nights out and optional extra shifts.
The Role
Primarily long-distance curtainsider work
Occasional shunting of non-ADR tanks
Some store delivery work involving refrigerated trailers
Typically 5 working days per week
Minimum 4 nights out per week expected
Optional weekend shifts available where operationally required
Drivers operate nationwide and must be comfortable managing varying routes and schedules while maintaining professional standards.

Operate company vehicles safely and professionally
Take pride in vehicle condition and presentation
Deliver excellent customer service
Maintain punctuality and reliability
Follow company compliance and safety procedures
Build positive relationships with customers and colleagues
Requirements
Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
Driver CPC qualification
Strong knowledge of Drivers’ Hours & Working Time Directive
Minimum 2 years Class 1 experience
Aged 25+ (insurance requirement)
Maximum 6 penalty points
Good UK road network knowledge
Professional, flexible, and dependable attitude
Comfortable with occasional manual handling and tail-lift deliveries
(A truck navigation system is provided.)
