We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Driver to complete long-distance runs delivering fresh produce to customers and distribution centres across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional driver who enjoys being on the road and takes pride in delivering on time, every time.
The Role:
• Completing long-distance trunking runs nationwide
• Transporting fresh produce safely and efficiently
• Ensuring timely deliveries to RDCs and customer sites
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Maintaining accurate delivery paperwork and records
• Adhering to all road transport regulations and company policies
• Representing the company professionally at all times
You will need:
• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Previous experience in long-distance or trunking work preferred
• Good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
• Ability to work independently
This is long term ongoing.
This is a Monday to Friday role. Start times vairy between 4am and 7am.
The hourly rate starts at £15.00 per hour. You will accrue up to 28 days holiday per year.
