Kapwell Ltd is a UK-based specialist engineering company headquartered in Aberdeen, with workshop facilities in Gourdon. We design and manufacture advanced separation and scrubbing systems for oil & gas, hydrogen, environmental, and industrial sectors.

Due to continued project growth and international operations, we are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to support our finance and accounting activities.

Role Overview:
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate accounting records, and supporting month-end and year-end financial reporting processes. This is a key role supporting project-based engineering & manufacturing operations, supplier payments, international transactions, and compliance reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records using inhouse xls document
Process purchase invoices and supplier payments
Raise sales invoices and monitor receivables
Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards
Preparre documents for VAT returns- handover to Kapwell acocounts
Support payroll processing
Assist with month-end reporting and financial summaries
Track project cost allocations (engineering/manufacturing projects)
Liaise with external accountants and auditors
Maintain document control for financial records

Requirements:
Proven experience in bookkeeping (minimum 3 years preferred)
Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and VAT regulations
Experience with project-based accounting (engineering/manufacturing preferred)
Strong Excel skills
High attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Confidential and professional approach
