Summary
Deputy Nursery Manager – Up to £33,000
Children move confidently between bright, age-specific playrooms and a large outdoor space where they can enjoy many adventures and the opportunity to learn. As Deputy Nursery Manager, you’ll be present on the floor, guiding practice, supporting room leaders, and keeping standards high across the setting.

What You’ll Need
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Proven senior experience within a nursery setting
- Strong working knowledge of the EYFS and Ofsted requirements
- Experience supporting or supervising other practitioners
What You’ll Do
- Support the Nursery Manager with day-to-day operational oversight
- Lead staff practice across rooms to maintain EYFS and safeguarding standards
- Supervise, mentor, and support room leaders and practitioners
- Monitor planning, observations, and learning records
- Manage staffing ratios and assist with rotas
- Step into the Manager role in their absence
