Situated in Leyland, Lancashire, the College is near the M6, M61 and M65 and within commuting distance of Manchester, Liverpool and the Lake District.We are inviting applications from highly successful curriculum managers or course leaders, from computing and digital technologies or other subject areas, to be the next Head of School: Computing and Digital Technologies.The School currently offers A Level, T Level, Vocational Level 3, Level 2, Level 1 and Adult courses, and leads the College’s participation in the Ministry of Defence’s Cyber Bursary Scheme. It also operates as a MEGA Hub for CyberFirst’s engagement with local high schools.The successful candidate will provide clear strategic and operational leadership to drive the next phase of the School’s development. They will ensure an ambitious and responsive curriculum, aligned to sector developments and local, regional and national skills priorities, and secure consistently strong outcomes, positive destinations and aspirational futures for all learners.Applicants are not required to be subject specialists in computing and digital technologies.
