We are looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to join our successful Marketing team. This role is home based with occasional visits to our Kirkham (Lancashire) head office required.
Role and Responsibilities

As part of a central marketing function, you’ll play a key role in shaping digital activity across the Group. You will be supported to develop professionally, contribute new ideas, and take ownership of projects that directly drive lead generation, sales enablement and audience growth.
Your work will span campaign delivery, content creation, website optimisation, paid media, research, and digital analysis, giving you the chance to broaden your expertise and make a measurable impact.
The successful candidate's responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Digital & Campaign Delivery
You’ll work closely with our Digital Marketing & Communications Manager and Campaign Manager to support the delivery of targeted, insight‑led digital activity.
- Supporting and executing website updates, social media activity and paid advertising campaigns to reach priority audiences and existing customers.
- Writing compelling ad copy, creating campaign‑aligned landing pages with strong CTAs.
- Exploring emerging digital opportunities and new channels.
- Using data and insights to optimise campaign performance, produce clear reports and provide recommendations.
Content & Communications
You’ll create engaging, customer‑centric content that helps position our organisation and clients as credible, trusted industry voices.
- Conducting competitor analysis, keyword research and industry research to inform strategy.
- Producing content including blogs, social posts, newsletters, case studies and on-page web copy.
- Writing and optimising content in line with keyword strategy, AI‑driven discovery and SEO best practice to drive visibility, conversions, and traffic.
Shared Operational & Administrative Responsibilities
You’ll help keep the department running smoothly:
- Managing shared inboxes, ensuring queries and briefs are prioritised, tracked, and progressed.
- Capturing and recording inbound lead information accurately.
- Helping maintain SharePoint as a central digital asset hub, ensuring strong links between website content and internal resources.
- Supporting the team with day‑to‑day marketing tasks and ad‑hoc requests.
Read and comply with the company Health & Safety Policy; taking reasonable care for the Health & Safety of themselves and others; co-operate with managers and other employees in fulfilling our objectives and statutory duties.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements
Skills
Essential
- A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role, within a B2B or regulated environment
- Ability to plan, build, optimise and report on multi‑channel digital campaigns (paid search, paid social, email, web)
- Proven experience of operating websites with content management systems (Word Press beneficial) and confident using keyword research and SEO best practice to improve visibility and conversion outcomes across the website
- Must be fluent in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- A team player
- Positive attitude and unfazed by complex multi-tasking
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work to deadlines
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Desirable:
- Good understanding of appropriate online marketing tools (Google Analytics, SEM Rush, Hotjar and HubSpot desirable, but not essential) to identify performance trends, user journeys and optimise campaigns.
Qualifications
Essential:
- GCSEs.
- A-Levels.
Desirable:
- A relevant degree or equivalent qualification / apprenticeship.
