The Priory Lincoln Academy are looking to appoint an ambitious and dynamic Teacher of Computer Science to play a key role in our journey to become an inspirational learning community. The successful candidate will need to be an excellent teacher, have excellent subject knowledge and want to be a part of Centre of Excellence for Computing and Digital with industry standard facilities.
Teachers of Computer Science play a crucial role in delivering a dynamic and engaging curriculum that equips students with the digital skills needed for success in an ever‑evolving technological world. This position would suit an enthusiastic and innovative individual who is passionate about inspiring young people to develop their knowledge of computing, programming, and digital literacy. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong subject expertise, effective classroom management, and a commitment to enabling students of all abilities to achieve their potential. Confidence in using a range of software and hardware is essential, alongside a desire to contribute to wider departmental development and whole‑academy initiatives. The role also includes contributing to the delivery of Digital T Levels (Digital Support and Security and Software Development) to Sixth Form students, making full use of the academy’s state‑of‑the‑art facilities to provide high‑quality, industry‑focused learning experiences.
