Opportunity

We are seeking to appoint a Lead Teacher in Music for our Music Department at Redmoor Academy after the recent internal promotion of the current Music Teacher. The department provides an excellent curriculum provision and continually achieves strong results at Key Stage 4. An ambitious and innovative teacher will thrive in this environment and will be offered plentiful opportunities for further progression. As a qualified Music Teacher, you will possess a passion for raising achievement through high musical aspirations whilst balancing inclusion and having a strong aptitude for overcoming barriers to learning. Being dynamic and creative, you will be a team player and able to lead and inspire others around you.

This opportunity can be negotiated around the skill set and experience of the applicant. For the right candidate, there is an option for full-time or part-time. Although we are advertising for a lead teacher, we would also welcome applications from ECT’s who are ambitious and would work towards this role.
