Summary
Requirement
Hands-on Azure Security Engineer required to improve Microsoft security posture through active vulnerability
remediation, Defender optimisation, and Purview-led compliance uplift. This is a delivery-focused role centred
on fixing and hardening environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Remediate vulnerabilities from Defender for Cloud
• Optimise Defender for Endpoint and EASM
• Improve Secure Score through practical fixes
• Implement and manage Purview (DLP, sensitivity labels, insider risk)
• Strengthen identity security (Entra ID, Conditional Access, PIM)
• Tune Sentinel analytics and support incident response
• Drive measurable posture improvement across Azure and endpoints
Required Experience
• Strong hands-on Defender (Cloud & Endpoint) experience
• Purview and data protection controls
• Proven vulnerability remediation track record
• Azure identity & access security expertise
• PowerShell/MS Graph automation
Certifications:
• AZ-500 (required)
• SC-100 (or commitment)
• One of: MS-500, SC-400, SC-900
