A rare Data and Exams Manager job - perfect for somebody who wants a varied and exciting role.

Your new school
Lift Broadlands is a small secondary school in Keynsham, fostering a nurturing environment for students aged 11-16 and led by an incredible Principal, Laura Stone, who is passionate about ensuring that every student has access to an excellent education, in every classroom, every day. We're conveniently located near Bath and North East Somerset, with excellent transport links to Bristol and other surrounding areas. We are a small, mixed, fully inclusive comprehensive school and remain one of the best choices for learning in the area. For every student who attends our academy, we aim to raise their aspirations, broaden their horizons and promote a life-long love of learning. We are an OFSTED 'Good' school, and benefit from a number of links with the local community and have an excellent reputation.

Your new role
This is an exciting job with two elements, the role of the Data and Exams Officer is crucial in ensuring data is used effectively to set academy-wide priorities, providing timely and precise data analysis, supporting behaviour and attendance management, and assisting with exam administration. This includes leading the timely collection, analysis, presentation, and consistent management of data through the Management Information System (MIS), including statutory returns.

Additionally, the role is essential in the management, coordination, and administration of the public exams process, liaising with examination boards, and collaborating with colleagues on timetables and special arrangements. The role also involves managing public examination results and the provision of internal examinations, assisting staff with preparation, seating plans, venue coordination, and invigilation.

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will have experience of managing both data and exams but if your experience lies in one area then please still apply. You'll be able to work independently and be a problem solver with a can-do attitude. You will have the ability to analyse complex data and use it to inform strategic planning and decision making with high levels of attention to detail, with the ability to spot errors and inaccuracies. You'll also be able to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leaders, students and central team colleague.

We offer you:
Comprehensive training: Access to some of the best developmental training to boost your career.
Generous benefits: From your pension plan to healthcare and financial support, we've got you covered.
Lifestyle perks: Enjoy discounted gym memberships, travel deals, and much more.
