Nursery Room Leader - Pre-School Room – £14.50 per hour
Children move between creative areas, learning spaces, and a spacious outdoor garden as part of their daily routine. As Nursery Room Leader, you’ll take day-to-day ownership of the room - guiding practice, overseeing planning, and ensuring children are well prepared for their transition to school.
Before You Apply
- A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification is required.
- You must have experience leading or deputising within a nursery room.
- This role is not suitable for practitioners without senior room responsibility.

What You’ll Need
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Experience working within a Pre-school (Desirable)
- Experience leading a nursery room
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS and school readiness expectations
What You’ll Do
- Lead the daily running of the Pre-school room
- Plan and oversee activities in line with the EYFS
- Monitor observations, assessments, and school readiness
- Support and supervise practitioners within the room
- Maintain safeguarding, health and safety, and ratio compliance
- Build professional relationships with parents and carers
