We’re looking for committed, customer‑focused individuals to join our vibrant team in the pools complex. If you’re a confident communicator with excellent people skills and hold the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, we’d love to hear from you.

In this role, the successful applicant will play a key part in keeping our swimmers safe, supporting the smooth running of the Centre, and helping maintain a clean, welcoming environment throughout the pools complex. This is a great opportunity to make a real difference to our community while working as part of a supportive, energetic team.

The centre operates from 6.00am to 10.30pm, including weekends and bank holidays, so flexibility is a must.

Please note should sufficient applications be received prior to the closing date, we may close the role for applications early.

Chelmsford City Council is committed to safeguarding vulnerable groups and expects all employees to share this commitment and have a range of policies and procedures in place which promote safeguarding and safer working practices across our services.
