Summary
Rotherview Care Home is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Support Worker to join our team. You will provide high-quality, person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs, promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing at all times.
This role requires flexibility, patience, and a positive attitude, with a commitment to supporting individuals who may display behaviours that challenge.
Duties Include:
Support residents with personal care and daily living tasks
Promote independence and encourage choice
Follow individual care plans and behaviour support plans
Accurately record daily notes and complete documentation
Support residents to access community activities and social opportunities
Work as part of a team to ensure a safe and supportive environment
Report any safeguarding concerns promptly
We are looking for a compassionate and reliable individual with experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or complex behaviours, who is confident in delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
Applicants should ideally hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care, or be willing to work towards one, and have a good understanding of safeguarding practices.
The successful candidate will be a strong team player with excellent communication skills, able to follow care plans accurately, maintain clear documentation, and remain calm and proactive when supporting individuals who may display behaviours that challenge.
