Summary
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority Rhondda Cynon Taf in to assist with the appointment of a Swap Out Controller, on a 1.5-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £13.26 - £17.35 per hour
Summary:
This Swap Out Controller role involves upgrading home care devices from analogue to digital systems, ensuring residents continue to receive reliable assistive technology support. The postholder will play a key part in the digital transformation of outdated hardware, working directly in customers homes across the borough.
Responsibilities:
Carry out the removal and installation of assistive technology equipment as part of the analogue-to-digital upgrade programme.
Install, configure and test digital home care devices in customers properties.
Demonstrate the use of installed equipment to customers (training provided).
Provide clear explanations and reassurance to service users regarding new digital systems.
Follow technical instructions and installation procedures accurately.
Maintain accurate records of installations and equipment changes.
Essentials:
Full UK Driving Licence
Basic IT skills and confidence working with digital equipment.
Ability to follow technical instructions accurately.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Customer-focused approach with the ability to explain equipment clearly to service users.

You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
You should have right to work in U.K
This role requires an Enhanced DBS
