- Deliver engaging Geography lessons using provided plans across Key Stages
- Teach a broad range of topics including physical, human, and environmental geography
- Develop pupils’ understanding of place, space, and global interdependence
- Support students in building enquiry, map-reading, and analytical skills
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of mixed-ability groups
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress when required
- Contribute to departmental planning and wider school initiatives during longer-term placements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge across the Geography curriculum
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to inspire curiosity about the world and promote a love of Geography
- Flexible and adaptable across different schools and year groups
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils
- Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development
