Summary
We are a busy law firm seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing excellent customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy office environment. This role is part-time and a job-share with our other receptionist.
Duties:
Greet clients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Manage incoming correspondence, including emails and postal mail, ensuring timely responses.
Maintain an organised reception area, ensuring it is tidy and welcoming at all times.
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, utilising both Microsoft Office and Leap applications.
Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars for staff members as needed.
Handle clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents to support the administrative team.
Support various administrative functions as needed to ensure smooth office operations.
Candidate Requirements:
Previous reception experience is not essential but preferred.
Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) applications.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
Demonstrated clerical experience with a focus on maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
Flexibility to cover holiday and sick leave for our other receptionist.
A positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills to foster good relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
Full clean driving licence
