Summary

Are you an experienced transport professional looking for an opportunity to shape fleet operations and drive sustainability initiatives? We're looking for a Senior Transport Manager to join our Norfolk Highways and Infrastructure Contract team based in Norfolk.



Location: Norfolk - travel to the office required with some remote working available

Hours: Permanent Fulltime 45 hours per week Monday to Friday - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

What will you be responsible for?

As our Senior Transport Manager, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our transport operations are safe, compliant, and efficient while leading strategic innovations for our future fleet.

Your day to day will include:

-Leading fleet and plant governance as the named person on our Operator's Licence, ensuring full legal compliance

-Developing our fleet decarbonisation strategy in alignment with Kier's sustainability commitments

-Managing fleet utilisation, maintenance schedules, and compliance frameworks

-Implementing digital stock management systems to improve visibility and efficiency

-Produce utilisation reports and work with operations managers to ensure optimum fleet provision



What are we looking for?

This role of Senior Transport Manager is ideal if you:

-Hold a National CPC qualification and bring solid experience in transport management

-Have a strong track record in managing compliance frameworks and governance

-Bring hands‑on experience in implementing digital stock management systems

-Are passionate about sustainability and driving fleet decarbonisation initiatives

-Enjoy developing talent and fostering inclusive, high‑performing teams where everyone can thrive
